Drywall Started

I finally ordered and had the drywall delivered on Friday. Around 12,500 sq. feet of drywall. It's alot of drywall. The contractor started work the next day. The guy is a workaholic. I didn't expect him to begin until Monday, but he wanted to get started. Who am I to tell him no? :) He's told me that it should take somewhere between 7-10 days to get it hung, mud, and taped. I can't wait till it's done. Almost feel that I'm starting to finally hit the last bend before the home stretch!

There are two types of sheetrock (drywall) that is used. You can see the two types in this picture. The one that is green is moisture resistant and is what is used in the bathrooms. The white/grey stuff is regular sheetrock, which is used everywhere else in the house.

The contractor (Rob) is pictured here puttin up drywall in the master bathroom. He's been quite helpful in getting things done. He's always looking for work and he does good

This is one of the tools used to hang the sheetrock from the ceiling.
